We may still be sheltered in place, but we are staying ready for adventure!

When our tours resume, our friendly and experienced guides will be ready for you, including Brody and Mike:

Brody Swanner

“I have been working for Margarita Adventures for the past one and a half years. I began working for MA because I love being in the outdoors, and I am a very social person. MA is a perfect place to work because I get to spend my days on the beautiful Margarita Ranch while meeting new people who are always in a good mood because we are zip lining! I grew up in the outdoors I had experience rock climbing and working with much of the gear we use on the course when I started working here. I am currently in my final year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I study Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration with a concentration in Outdoor Recreation Management, and a minor in Spanish. I also work leading backpacking and camping trips for other Cal Poly students with Poly Escapes. I spend as much of my time possible in the outdoors trail running, hiking, backpacking, climbing or playing guitar in a hammock. Due to the shelter in place mandate in San Luis Obispo County, I haven’t worked in almost a month and that’s a big bummer, but I can’t wait to get back out on the ranch to fly through the sky again! See you out there!”

Mike Murach

Mike has worked for Margarita Adventures since 2017. He is currently enrolled at Cal Poly SLO, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and starting a Master of Science program in Civil and Environmental Engineering. When he is not hard at work at the ziplines or hitting the books, he enjoys running, cooking, camping, and drinking as many smoothies as he can get his hands on. He is a smoothie enthusiast and a firm believer in a smoothie a day lifestyle! Mike loves getting out into the outdoors and having a job that gets him outside. Like the rest of us, he will be ready for adventure when our tours resume!
